Mike Eggert is back! Back in the gravel pit to bring his signature big hugs and chuckles to the Dolphin Wine Room ala Pinbone estillo! Those of you who know him well will have eaten all of his dishes, ranging from pop-ups such as Pinbone at the old Buzo site, 10 Williams st, Pinbone Good Luck – The Chinese restaurant concept that blew a few minds, then on to Dirty Italian Disco in Botany and more recently at Totti’s (The Royal Hotel, Bondi). Whichever version of Mike’s cooking you prefer, you can come experience the best of it via his favourite snack-plates and things to accompany them with.

Come down to The Dolphin on a winter Sunday afternoon and enjoy a drink in your favourite sunlit spot, followed by a snack session in the Wine Room with Mikey Eggert, Monty, James and Marie!

Get in early or be prepared to wait for a table, you know how quickly the Wine room fills up!

Aperitivo Hour has been at the very heart of the Wine Room since the inception of the hotel just over a year ago. The concept has been based on Maurice’s experience and groundbreaking work at The Melbourne Wine Room in The George Hotel in Melbourne, which is to build a place of quality service, impeccable product and in as many words circle back to what ‘real hospitality’ is.

In its simplest form, the concept is very well priced drinks and delicious plates of super-value snacks from Sunday to Thursday, 5-7pm priced at a super-reasonable $5-7.
